
Zhang Ping has been teaching at the Law School of Peking University since 1991. She was appointed as the Chair Professor of Yahoo-Founder at the Law School of Peking University and the Director of the Internet Law Center of Peking University in 2005. She served as the Executive Vice Dean of Peking University Intellectual Property Academy from 2009 to 2022, and acted as the Executive Dean of the Intellectual Property Development Research Institute of Peking University in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from 2018 to 2024. She has been a Dual-Appointment Expert at the Artificial Intelligence Center of Peng Cheng Laboratory in Shenzhen since 2018. She has been serving as the Director of the AI Security and Governance Center at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University, and as the Vice Dean of Wuhan Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University since 2023. She has been a Member of the Artificial Intelligence Development Committee, Peking University since 2024. Additionally, she has been serving as the Head of the AI Governance Task Force under the National Artificial Intelligence Standardization General Working Group since 2025.

She has participated in numerous major national-level research projects, and has published multiple monographs and over 100 academic papers.

Liu Hua is the Director of the China Office of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a position she has held since June 2020. She has served as Special Representative for Human Rights Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director-General of the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China), Counselor of the Permanent Mission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland, and Director of the Economic Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Education: Liu Hua graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature, Peking University, with a Bachelor's degree. She also obtained a Master's degree in International Law from Lund University in Sweden. In addition, she has completed the Leadership and Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Monica Su is the Chief Representative Officer for China at the International Trademark Association (INTA). She joined INTA in 2018, mainly responsible for policy advocacy, government relations, human resource management, development of local brand members, as well as close collaboration with members on initiatives related to education, publicity, trademarks and other intellectual property areas. During her tenure at INTA, she has served as the Lead of INTA's 2020 Women's Leadership Initiative. This initiative achieved great success within INTA and in the IP field, and has been institutionalized as a permanent, regular program of INTA that continues to advocate for women's career development at various major events. She is currently pursuing a management program at Harvard Business School.
Previously, she accumulated extensive experience at the British Embassy in Beijing, the former State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), as well as relevant industry associations and law firms.

Lei Xiaoyun is the Vice President and Secretary-General of the Patent Protection Association of China, former Director of the Department of Promotion and Utilization at the China National Intellectual Property Administration. A recognized leader in the field of intellectual property, Lei is also a registered expert with the International Organization for Standardization's Technical Committee on Innovation Management (ISO/TC279) and the Vice Chair of the National Technical Committee on Knowledge and Intellectual Property Management Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC554). With extensive experience in intellectual property administration, she has a strong foundation in policy theory and rich administrative expertise. In recent years, she has led the development of key national intellectual property policies and major research projects on IP management innovation, financial services, and the development of the service sector. She has led the development of over 10 national standards related to patent navigation, patent evaluation, intellectual property compliance, and IP management for enterprises, universities, and research institutions. She is also a major author of books such as Theory and Practice of China’s IP Administration and Intellectual Property: Winning the Future of Cities, as well as numerous national reports on IP operations and service industry development. She is a leading expert in the creation of the first international standard for intellectual property management, Innovation Management - Tools and Methods for Intellectual Property Management - Guidance (ISO56005).

Professor Chander is the Scott K. Ginsburg Professor of Law and Technology at Georgetown University Law Centre. He previously served as the Director of the California International Law Center and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis. He clerked for Chief Judge Jon O. Newman of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and Judge William A. Norris of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been a visiting law professor at Yale, the University of Chicago, Stanford, Cornell, and Tsinghua.

Mr. SHAY Leslie is currently the Assistant Director (Patents and Designs) of the Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. He is responsible for policy and legal advice related to patents and registered designs, including the application of international treaties. Previously, he served as the Assistant Director (Trademarks) of the Intellectual Property Department. Before joining the Intellectual Property Department, he was a government counsel for the Department of Justice, representing the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in handling civil matters such as arbitration and intellectual property enforcement procedures. He obtained the qualification of barrister in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Matthias Leistner is Full Professor (GRUR Chair) for Civil Law, Intellectual Property Law with Information and IT-Law, Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU), Munich. He called for a position of a Director of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition Munich and Scientific Member of the Max Planck Society in 2023– stayed at LMU Munich. He was an International Visiting Professor at Columbia Law School, University of Columbia, New York City, in the Summer Term 2020.

Currently serving as the Legal Director at Xiaomi Group, Zheng has previously held positions at the China National Intellectural Property Administration, including PCT Examiner, Reexamination Officer, and Quality Control Specialist for the Examination Division. She has extensive experience in intellectual property practice within the internet and new energy industries, having worked as the Director of Intellectual Property at a listed internet company. In this role, she was responsible for overall IP management, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, open-source software, and major technology projects. She also led open-source compliance and autonomous driving IP work at a new energy company.
Zheng is a recognized expert in the Beijing Intellectual Property Expert Database and previously served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the China Trademark Association, as well as a People’s Juror and IP Dispute Mediation Officer, receiving recognition as an Outstanding Juror and Mediator. She translated the first and second chapters of the book The True Value of Patents, which has been published. She was also entrusted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration to co-author the Enterprise Intellectual Property Protection Guide, which has been published. Additionally, she contributed to Foreign Patent Practice (U.S. Edition), where she was responsible for reviewing, and participated in the compilation of Research on Legal Safeguards for Autonomous Driving, both of which have been published.

Ke Xiaopeng holds a Bachelor’s degree in Measurement and Control Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and a Master's degree in Law from Nanjing University. Currently the Director of Patent Legal Affairs at Alibaba Group, Xiaopeng has previously held positions at major multinational tech companies including Foxconn, ZTE, NXP, and Visionox. He holds qualifications as a Chinese Patent Agent, Lawyer, and Corporate Legal Advisor. With extensive experience in intellectual property practice and management, he has been honored with awards such as Asia's Intellectual Property Elite, China's Outstanding Intellectual Property Manager, Leader of China's Outstanding IP Team, and Leading Talent in Intellectual Property in Suzhou. He also served as the Chairman of the Oriental Intellectual Property Club and the Chairman of the China Enterprise Intellectual Property Development Salon. He co-edited professional books, including The Path of IP I and The Path of IP II.

Currently the Strategic Planning Manager and Head of New Business Incubation at Estun Automation Group, Wang has over 10 years of experience in the robotics and smart manufacturing industry. He specializes in industrial robots, humanoid robots, industrial automation, and digital software, focusing on industrial development research and business incubation in these fields.
