Forum 1-3B Forum on Empowering the Development of Iron and Steel Metallurgy Industry Through Intelligent Manufacturing

Forum Objective

At present, China's Iron and steel metallurgical industry is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading, low-carbon green development and smart manufacturing will become China's main direction towards a strong country in iron and steel. With the increasingly fierce market competition at home and abroad, the rapid development of information technology, and the advent of an information society, the Iron and steel industry urgently needs to accelerate the formation of a green low-carbon steel manufacturing system supported by information technology and an integrated industrial chain system based on the network under the information environment, as well as life cycle management and control system of steel products by means of digitization. This forum will focus on the whole factor process of production in metallurgical industry, and explore the possible ways and far-reaching significance of integration of smart manufacturing related technologies and dual-carbon related technologies. We will build an international exchange platform for industry, university, research institution, promote the in-depth integration of innovation and industrial chains, and help steel and iron enterprises realize digital, intelligent and low-carbon transformation and upgrading.

About WIMC Sub-Forums

The World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference (WIMC) has been successfully held in Nanjing for five sessions.
