He serves as the Vice President of the Chinese Association of Automation, Director of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Industrial Process Measurement and Control, a Fellow of the International Association of Automation (ISA), and the leader of an innovation group funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His research focuses on industrial communication and real-time systems theory, distributed control system technology, industrial wireless technology, network collaboration, and intelligent manufacturing. He has led and participated in numerous national-level projects. He has published over 100 papers in high-level international and domestic journals and at renowned international conferences, and authored two academic monographs. He has received two second-class National Science and Technology Progress Awards, one second-class National Technological Invention Award, five first-class provincial and ministerial-level Technological Invention and Science and Technology Progress Awards, the First Prize for China Standard Innovation Contribution, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Progress Award, and the ISA Outstanding Technological Innovation Award.

Professor Ganiyusufoglu is a member of the German Academy of Engineering, a member of the International Academy of Production Engineering (CIRP), and Chairman of the Corporate Members Advisory Group (CMAG) within CIRP; he is also an adjunct professor at Tongji University and a recipient of the 2018 Chinese Government Friendship Award.

Professor Ganiyusufoglu studied under Professor Spur, the "Emperor" of German machine tools, and received his Doctor of Engineering degree from the Technical University of Berlin in 1985. Throughout his long career, he has served as Technical Manager at Trauber Lathe GmbH, Technical General Manager at Yamazaki Mazak GmbH, and General Manager at Index Dalian Group Co., Ltd. Since 2011, he has served as an advisor to the Chairman of Shenyang Machine Tool Group Co., Ltd. He has accumulated profound academic expertise and rich management experience in machine tool design, manufacturing, management, and global operations.

Rudy Belliardi is an international standardization consultant with over 40 years of experience in automation and control systems, including 20 years in standardization. He has designed and implemented systems, programming languages/compilers, runtime engines, and network protocols for factory automation and other fields, including healthcare. He is a co-author of books on real-time automation and automation networks and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences. Rudy served as Assistant Secretary and former Secretary of the IEC/TC 65 Technical Committee on Measurement, Control and Automation of Industrial Processes, a key driving force behind smart manufacturing standardization. As Secretary of this Technical Committee, Rudy served as an advisor and final editor for several IEC/TC 65 standardization projects. He also served as convener of the IEC/TC 65 JWG 14 Joint Working Group on Energy Efficiency in Industrial Automation, leading several projects supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Rudy is the Technical Director of Modbus.org, responsible for maintaining related specifications. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Genoa and a Professional Degree in Computer Science Applied Scientist from George Washington University. He is a member of IEEE, ACM and the Engineering Frontiers organization, and holds multiple patents in the field of automation.

Participated in the drafting of national functional zoning plans, multiple five-year plans for the steel industry, and various versions of steel capacity replacement measures; led the National Key R&D Program project "Research and Application of International Standards for Strategic Key Mineral Materials and Related Testing Methods"; led the drafting of documents such as the "Guideline for the Construction of Intelligent Manufacturing Standard System in the Steel Industry" and important standards such as "Recycled Steel Raw Materials"; and was the project leader for the world's first international standard project in the fields of intelligent and low-carbon steel. Received six provincial and ministerial-level awards, including the Metallurgical Science and Technology Award, the Metallurgical Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement Award, and the National Excellent Engineering Consulting Achievement Award. In recent years, has repeatedly expressed views on industry-related issues on CCTV and other media platforms, actively promoting the steel industry and its standardization efforts.

He is also the chief representative for Lenovo Group in several well-known international standardization organizations such as IEEE, Bluetooth, ITIC, and UL. Dr. Tao also serves as the vice chairman of the China Association for Standardization, the vice chairman of the China Electronic Energy Conservation Technology Association, the deputy director of the Standards and Quality Supervision Committee of the China Engineers Consortium, the chairman of the Intelligent Terminal and System Architecture Subcommittee of the Zhongguancun Standardization Association, and the deputy director of the Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee of the Zhongguancun Standardization Association.
