Hongxin WU
Fellow of Chinese Association of Automation, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Expert in Control Theory and Control EngineeringHe is mainly engaged in the theoretical and application research of adaptive and intelligent control in aerospace and industrial fields. He has published over 70 papers and 2 monographs. In 1992, his book All-Coefficient Adaptive Control Theory and Application won the second prize of National Excellent Science and Technology Book Award, and the book Characteristic Model-based Intelligent Adaptive Control won the award of the Second Chinese Government Publishing Book Award in 2010. He won 1 second prize and 1 third prize of State Award for Inventions, 1 first prize and 5 second prizes of Ministerial Scientific and Technological Progress Awards. In 2011, he won the "CAA Outstanding Contribution Award for 50 years", and he won the title of "National Outstanding Scientist" in 2014. In 1992, he was rated as an expert with outstanding contributions by the Ministry of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and he was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Award for Aerospace Talent Training" by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation in 2004.

Assistant Professor at University of BristolHis research interests are in the security of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS), Industrial Control Systems and Critical Infrastructure. My research investigates the cyber physical attack models, impact of attacks, detection and mitigation on CPS. My research takes a multidisciplinary approach to tackle the security issues associated with CPS and he has excelled in applying cyber security, formal methods, and machine learning fundamentals for advancing CPS security for greater impacts.

Professor at Wuhan UniversityHe graduated from Arizona State University with a doctorate in 2008. In 2011, he worked as a teacher at the University of Denver in the United States, and he successively served as assistant professor, associate professor and obtained the qualification of lifelong professor. Since 2018, he has served as a professor and doctoral advisor in the school of electrical and automation, deputy director of the Department of electrical engineering of Wuhan University. He is a visiting researcher of the Institute of automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, winner of the "Yang Jiachi Science and Technology Award", he is a member of youth project of the national talent program and member of the academic committee of the Department of engineering of Wuhan University. Dr. Zhang is currently the Deputy Secretaries-general of Chinese Association of Automation, vice chairman of IEEE Council on RFID, member of the editorial board of ACTA AUTOMATICA SINICA (Chinese and English version), member of the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, member of the editorial board and column leader of IEEE IoT Magazine, he is mainly engaged in the research of big data in complex systems, artificial intelligence, theory and application of information technology and blockchain.
