Chunsheng Yang
ProfessorDr. Yang Chunsheng is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (FCAE) and Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (FAAIA). He is a Principal Scientist with the National Research Council Canada. He is a Professor with Guangzhou University and a distinguished Professor with Nagoya Institute of Technology (Japan). Dr. Yang is an Adjunct Professor with Carleton University (Canada). He is interested in data science, machine learning, hybrid reasoning, intelligent systems, digital twins and Prognostic and Health Management (PHM).

He got his Ph.D. degree of mechanical engineering in 1997 at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He got senior management certificate from RPI (Renssellaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY) in 2001.

He has been engaged in research on green manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, and low-carbon manufacturing. He has led or participated in multiple research projects, including the National Key R&D Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and enterprise cooperation. He has published over 100 research papers in core journals and academic conferences, and published multiple academic works such as "Green Manufacturing Theory, Methods and Applications" and "Dry Machining Technology and Application". He has received a second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and four first prizes of Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award.

He is currently the CIO of Jiangsu Longcheng Precision Forging Group Co., Ltd. and the General Manager of Longcheng Mingqi Technology (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. He joined Jiangsu Longcheng Precision Forging Group as the Information Department Manager in March 2012 and established the Information Department from scratch. Since May 2021, he has been served as the CIO of Jiangsu Longcheng Precision Forging Group and the General Manager of Longcheng Mingqi Technology (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Longcheng Precision Forging Group.
