Notification of the Measures for Prevention and Control of Covid-19

Distinguished gentlemen/ladies:

For the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic and to ensure the health and safety of the summit participants, please volunteer to cooperate with us in accordance with the law based on the epidemic situation in the whole city at present. The requirements are as follows:

1. According to the change of epidemic situation, adjustment of the grade of risk in the prevention and control of epidemic in different regions, and the measures taken by the host city of the summit, those who have the following experiences shall not participated in the summit in principle:

(1)Those who stayed or travelled to foreign countries within 28 days before the summit (except Macao, and the health management of those who come from Macao to Nanjing comply with the current policy) and who stayed or travelled to regions of high or middle level risk within 21 days (the information of regions of high or middle level risk can be got on the website of the State Council: http://bmfw.www.gov.cn/yqfxdjcx/index.html

(2) Those who were in contact with any confirmed Covid-19 patients or asymptomatic infected patients or who had abnormal sign in Jiangsu Health Code or "Travel Card" within 21 days before the summit.

(3) The confirmed Covid-19 patient who was cured and discharged from hospital but still in medical observation period or the asymptomatic infected patients being removed from concentrated medical observation or those who have such symptoms as fever or cough. 

(4) Those who lived together with the people who were being observed for health conditions at home within 14 days before the summit, or those who stayed or travelled to the areas of low-level risk (the municipality directly under the Central Government is the county city) under the jurisdiction of regions of high or middle level risk within 14 days before the summit.

(5) Those who have not finished the full vaccination of new coronavirus (except those who have contraindications and are not suitable for the vaccination of new coronavirus). 

2. All the guests and staff members who will participate in the summit should make self-check and self-report by measuring body temperature and noting down the result every day within 14 days before the summit (Enclosure 1), and fill in the Promise of Health accurately before the summit (Enclosure 2). Please hand in your personal health monitoring form (records 14 days before entering the meeting room) and the Promise of Health to the conference service center or the liaison person for inviting you to the summit. 

3. Before checking in for the summit, you should report to the person in charge of the prevention and control of Covid-19 of all organizations, work groups or residence hotels if you have abnormal health conditions like fever, fatigue, cough, sore throat, diarrhoea, vomitting or decline in the sense of smell or taste, go to a medical facility for diagnosis voluntarily, and receive 2 nucleic acid tests (at least at an interval of 24 hours). You cannot participate in the summit or the security of the summit unless the result is negative. 

4. The guests outside Nanjing need to go to the appointed spot holding the nucleic acid test result released within 48 hours one day before the summit to receive the second-time on-the-spot nucleic acid test. They cannot participate in the summit unless the result is negative. The guests inside Nanjing shall to go to the appointed spot one day before the summit to receive the nucleic acid test, and they cannot participate in the summit unless the result is negative.

5. Please apply for the Jiangsu Health Code (You can search for it from Alipay or WeChat and get it) and Communication and Travelling Card (You can search for it from WeChat Applet) ahead of time. 

6. During the summit, please make a point of personal protection. In the meeting room or a crowded place, please wear the disposable medical mask or disposable surgical mask or N95 mask without breathing valve. Please measure the body temperature before entering the meeting room. Keep a suitable distance with others and don't shake hands for greeting. The social distancing of more than 1 meter should be maintained when entering the meeting room and communicating with others. Long time exchange at a short distance should be avoided. Leave the meeting room in an orderly manner when the meeting is completed.

7. Please strictly implement all the measures for the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic according to relevant demands of Nanjing in this regard. If you are ill during your stay in Nanjing, please contact the group for prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in time.

8. The organization committee of the summit will make due adjustment to the scheme for the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic according to the relevant policies and the relevant demands for ensuring public health for major events in Nanjing and based on the epidemic situation in the whole city at present. Please pay close attention to the official website of the summit and notification by short messages. Thanks for your understanding and support of this summit.
