Ping Zhang
Dual-Appointed Professor, Law School & Institute for Artificial Intelligence at Peking UniversityZhang Ping has been teaching at the Law School of Peking University since 1991. She was appointed as the Chair Professor of Yahoo-Founder at the Law School of Peking University and the Director of the Internet Law Center of Peking University in 2005. She served as the Executive Vice Dean of Peking University Intellectual Property Academy from 2009 to 2022, and acted as the Executive Dean of the Intellectual Property Development Research Institute of Peking University in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from 2018 to 2024. She has been a Dual-Appointment Expert at the Artificial Intelligence Center of Peng Cheng Laboratory in Shenzhen since 2018. She has been serving as the Director of the AI Security and Governance Center at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University, and as the Vice Dean of Wuhan Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University since 2023. She has been a Member of the Artificial Intelligence Development Committee, Peking University since 2024. Additionally, she has been serving as the Head of the AI Governance Task Force under the National Artificial Intelligence Standardization General Working Group since 2025.
Key Research Areas: Intellectual Property Law, Internet Law, Personal Information Protection Law, Rules for Open Source Community, AI Security and Governance, and Standard Essential Patents. She has participated in numerous major national-level research projects, and has published multiple monographs and over 100 academic papers.

Hua Liu
Director of the China Office at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)Liu Hua is the Director of the China Office of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a position she has held since June 2020. She has served as Special Representative for Human Rights Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director-General of the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China), Counselor of the Permanent Mission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland, and Director of the Economic Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Education: Liu Hua graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature, Peking University, with a Bachelor's degree. She also obtained a Master's degree in International Law from Lund University in Sweden. In addition, she has completed the Leadership and Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Monica Su
Chief Representative Officer for China at International Trademark Association (INTA)Monica Su is the Chief Representative Officer for China at the International Trademark Association (INTA). She joined INTA in 2018, mainly responsible for policy advocacy, government relations, human resource management, development of local brand members, as well as close collaboration with members on initiatives related to education, publicity, trademarks and other intellectual property areas. During her tenure at INTA, she has served as the Lead of INTA's 2020 Women's Leadership Initiative. This initiative achieved great success within INTA and in the IP field, and has been institutionalized as a permanent, regular program of INTA that continues to advocate for women's career development at various major events. She is currently pursuing a management program at Harvard Business School.
Previously, she accumulated extensive experience at the British Embassy in Beijing, the former State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), as well as relevant industry associations and law firms.

He previously served as the Director of the California International Law Center and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis. He clerked for Chief Judge Jon O. Newman of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and Judge William A. Norris of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been a visiting law professor at Yale, the University of Chicago, Stanford, Cornell, and Tsinghua.

Leslie SHAY
Assistant Director of Intellectual Property (Patents & Designs) at Intellectual Property Department of the Government of Hong KongMr. SHAY Leslie is currently the Assistant Director (Patents and Designs) of the Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. He is responsible for policy and legal advice related to patents and registered designs, including the application of international treaties. Previously, he served as the Assistant Director (Trademarks) of the Intellectual Property Department. Before joining the Intellectual Property Department, he was a government counsel for the Department of Justice, representing the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in handling civil matters such as arbitration and intellectual property enforcement procedures. He obtained the qualification of barrister in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
