He serves as Vice President of ZTE Corporation, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Expert Committee of the Corporate Strategy and Technology Expert Committee, and Chief Scientist of Gaoxin Technology Group Co., Ltd. He has won 2 second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and 10 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards; undertaken more than 10 national, provincial, and ministerial major projects and more than 20 major enterprise R&D projects, with over 20 years of experience in ICT technology research, development, and management. He is an executive director of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, deputy director of the Natural Language Processing Special Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the CCF Service Computing Special Committee, and member of the Computer Vision Special Committee. He is also the chief think-tank expert of the Industrial Internet Committee of the China Mobile Communications Federation, a member of the Expert Committee of the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Alliance, and a member of the Artificial Intelligence Special Committee of the China Information Technology Standardization Committee. He is currently engaged in multiple national and provincial artificial intelligence, security, and blockchain projects, and has conducted in-depth cooperation with well-known enterprises. His main research areas include computer vision, natural language processing and knowledge graph, big data analysis, and information security.

上海大学兼职教授、国家重点人才计划入选者,中国科协海智特聘专家,获颁“江苏省五一劳动荣誉奖章”。江苏省智能装备产业联盟秘书长。长期从事机器人、高端装备、工业互联网、工业大数据、智能制造技术研究,出版了专著“工业互联网:体系与技术”,发表论文150多篇,主要理论成果为:1.建立了工业互联网的框架体系,2. 提出了复杂制造系统的数据融合理论;3.提出了机械系统的故障诊断与预测模型和方法;4.提出了机器人非同位轨迹开展的稳定性理论,在国际学术界具有较大的影响力。主持了多个国家、省部级科研项目,累计经费1.71亿元。主持和参加了多个国家标准的制定,解决了多个数控机床、机器人等高端装备和工业互联网的卡脖子问题,主持开发了高端装备工业互联网平台、装备故障预测和健康管理系统、设备管理系统、和离散行业智能工厂系列软件。积极推动科技成果产业化,获得授权发明专利43个,在多个企业中获得应用,取得了较大的经济和社会效益。

He serves as the Deputy Director of the CAAI Youth Working Committee and the Secretary-General of the Artificial Intelligence Expert Committee of the Computer Science Education Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education. He has been invited to serve as an editorial board member for journals such as "Knowledge and Information Systems", "Frontiers of Computer Science", and "Acta Automatica Sinica". He has also held prominent positions such as the chairman of the SoftwareMining and PAKDD inaugural doctoral symposium DSDM'11, the domain chair of prestigious international conferences like IJCAI and IEEE ICDM, and a senior program committee member for AAAI and other conferences. His primary research interests lie in software mining and machine learning. He has published over fifty papers in prestigious academic journals both domestically and internationally, including "IEEE Trans KDE", as well as in notable international conferences like IJCAI and ICML. As a key member, he has been awarded the second prize of the National Natural Science Award and the first prize of the Natural Science Award by the Ministry of Education. He has also received accolades such as the "Microsoft Scholar" award and the HP Scholarship. Additionally, as a key member, he led the team to win the championship in the open category of the PAKDD'06 International Data Mining Competition, earned the Asia-Pacific Data Mining Youth Achievement Award, and was selected for the Excellent Teacher Award Program for Computer Science Majors in Chinese Universities.
