Forum Objective

At present, there is a wave of intelligent manufacturing technology around the world. Intelligent manufacturing is a combination of advanced automation technology, advanced manufacturing technology, artificial intelligence technology, sensor technology, digital manufacturing technology and new-generation information technology. It is a new type of manufacturing to help enterprises realize digital transformation and lead intelligence.

Advanced manufacturing process technology is the basis of advanced manufacturing technology. Compared with traditional manufacturing technology, advanced manufacturing process technology is mainly characterized by its high efficiency, high quality and rapid response capability to market changes. Its optimized process, process parameters, process procedures and process specifications determine the level and efficiency of manufacturing technology, as well as the quality of products, and is an important part of the manufacturing industry to achieve transformation and upgrading.

This forum focuses on the application of advanced manufacturing process technologies in the field of intelligent manufacturing, including laser processing, additive manufacturing, 3D printing, precision/ultra-precision machining, near-net forming technology, etc., to jointly discuss the current situation and future development trend of industrial application of advanced process technologies.

About WIMC Sub-Forums

The World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference (WIMC) has been successfully held in Nanjing for five sessions.
